Mr. Debashish Sen, IAS. Mr. Sen is currently the Additional Chief Secretary, Department of Information Technology, Government of West Bengal.

An experienced administrator with a demonstrated history of working in senior government positions, Mr. Sen also serves as a Managing Director of WBHIDCO and as Special Secretary to the Government of West Bengal, Department of Housing.

Skilled in Policy Formulation, Governance, Smart Cities, Information Technology Policy, Start Up Policy, Strategic Planning, and Public Administration, Mr. Sen has also served as Director of West Bengal Infrastructure Development Finance Corporation Limited and as Director of Durgapur Projects Ltd. Strong professional expertise in city development, urban analysis and democracy.

Mr. Sen has also trained at Harvard Business School and IMF Institute during his distinguished career.

Mr. Atanu Ghosh - Founder & CEO – Bluebeaks Solutions

Mr. Ghosh is the Promoter, Founder and CEO of and Bluebeaks Solutions, a Digital Transformation Consulting Firm as well as Salt n Soap, a technology platform for online grocery shopping. Mr. Ghosh is also an Angel Investor and serves on the Board of Directors of various technology start-ups.

Before his entrepreneurial stint, Mr. Ghosh was a Director with IBM and, prior to that, a Principal with PwC. With IBM and PwC Mr. Ghosh has worked extensively in India, USA, UK, SE Asia and China assisting Fortune 100 companies in formulating and implementing their digital strategies. Mr.Ghosh headed IBM’s ERP Practice for Bangalore and China before starting on his entrepreneurial journey.

Mr. Gangesh Chaturvedi – Head, Business Excellence & Digital Projects – Tata Steel.

A sales and marketing professional with over 18 years of experience, Mr. Chaturvedi has extensive experience working in telecom and prior to his current assignment at Tata Steel.

He has worked with Airtel as well as Tata Teleservices and is skilled in business development, Key Accounts handling and Customer Relationship Management.

He is also Gold Certified in the Business Excellence Leadership Program (TBEM) as well as Certified Scrum Master.

Mr. Mitul Das – CEO – URS Digitally

A Techno Marketer with over 18 years of experience specializing in Business Strategy, Marketing and Technology (Service Oriented Architecture & Enterprise Architecture), Mr. Das brings to the table a unique flavor of ‘Business – Marketing’ alignment.

Mr. Das has always been involved in Organization Model Development. Apart from creating the UrsDigitally business model from scratch as a co-founder and Director, he has been instrumental in setting up the Enterprise Architecture Practice in PwC in his previous stint.

InQube Innoventures, incubates “Innovative Inclusive Initiatives” and currently, Mr. Kar is involved in incubating several start-ups in the areas of Technology, Education, Healthcare, BPM, Skill Development, Data Analytics and Agriculture.

Earlier, Mr. Kar Co-Founded a US based Healthcare Services company which was finally acquired by the World’s largest employee benefits organization for US$ 140 Million.

Mr. Kalyan Kar is currently the Chairman of the National Education, HR & Skill Development Expert Committee of the Indian Chamber of Commerce as well as the Executive Committee of Bengal Chamber and Innovation & IT Sub-Committee of CII.

He has worked across verticals in Advertising and Telecom with Global/Regional teams and has business interests & collaborations across Advertising, Brand Consultancy, Cinema, Mobile, Music and Sports Marketing.

Mr. Atanu Dutt – Senior Consultant – IBM.

With a rich and varied experience of over 25 years in the field of IT, Mr. Dutt has worked on different projects at IBM over the last 8 years.

As Key Account Manager, Large Corporates & Captives, Large Utilities and Distribution Franchisees and Large Government Clients, Mr. Dutt has worked on various projects including Smarter Cities and GBS India.

Prior to that, he has worked with TCS and has varied experience in Oracle Applications, SAP, Energy Resource and Utilities, and Sales.

Mr. Rajarshi Dutta – Partner, Client Leadership – Group M, Kolkata.

Mr. Dutta has over 25 years of experience in the advertising industry, at companies like Madison, Havas Media, Rediffusion, HTA and Clarion.

Currently, at Mindshare, he manages the entire branch operations including Media Planning, Media Buying, Client Relationships and Media Relations.

He specializes in Formulating strategic media plans & working out 360o media solutions for clients. He is also an expert at data analytics for insights into Targeting, Market Prioritization and Media Touchpoints.

Traditional marketing methods in isolation aren't enough to efficiently drive business goals related to promotion, customer connect, lead generation & sales; and digital intervention is now key for any brand to attain agility and growth. As the digital marketing world experiences a major upward trend, the demand for digital marketing expertise is rising.

Bengal Institute of Business Studies (BIBS), a premier management institution based out of Kolkata today organised a Seminar titled “The Future of Digital Marketing” for its PGDPM students at Vivekanand Hall, Ramkrishna Mission, Institute of Culture, Golpark, Kolkata.

Speaking in this occasion Vidur Kapoor, Chairman, BIBS, said, "As consumer behaviour is changing, conventional marketing is changing by leaps & bounds too. With so less time available to consume traditional media, corporates are finding new technologies to send across brand messages to their target audience. Digital marketing is the most promising of all new age media. Hence, BIBS launched a course PGPDM (Post Graduate Progamme in Digital Marketing) that would arm future marketers with the relevant skill set."

Digital Marketing is not only the future; it’s a need of today. The opportunities for a Digital Marketing professional are huge in India right now. The Internet users have reached up to around 500 million and we have become a country with the world’s 3rd largest internet population and within the next 3 years, additional 300 million will get added to the population accessing the Internet in India. The current increase rate is measured at around 35%. The industry has approx. 8 lacs job options at present and is anticipating an increasing need in the digital space within the coming years.

Looking at the future of Digital Marketing with an objective of giving quality education to the students, BIBS has started a 2 year full-time management programme, the PGPDM; it gives students a deeper understanding of the digital marketing curriculum through an industry led team of experts. The course consists of 12 -15 months of intensive class room training followed by 6-8 months of industry internships. What’s more you get to lay hands on multiple live projects and also acquire in-built certifications from Google, Face book, Twitter, Hubspot amongst others.
